Accor Vacation Club was Australia’s first hotel branded holiday ownership club and commenced operations in 2000. The Club has over 28,500 Member families who enjoy holidays at the Club’s 24 Club Properties.

How to buy/Your next steps…

Contact Accor Vacation Club’s sales staff who are trained and authorised to assess your personal circumstances and to provide you with a recommendation as to whether an Accor Vacation Club Membership is right for you. They will also recommend the level of Membership most appropriate for your circumstances.  They are trained to clearly explain the Membership, to answer all of your questions regarding the Membership and to explain the benefits and risks if you buy a Membership from the responsible entity of the Accor Vacation Club.

Safety when purchasing/What to look for…

The responsible entity is required to hold an Australian Financial Services Licence to sell memberships in the Accor Vacation Club and the sales staff are Authorised Representatives under this licence.  This means that the Responsible Entity and the Authorised Representatives have strict legal obligations to make sure that they sell the Memberships in accordance with the law.  You will also obtain a 7 day cooling off period during which you can cancel your Membership in the event that you decide that the Membership is not right for you.  For a copy of the Accor Vacation Club’s Product Disclosure Statement and Financial Services Guide, click here.

The responsible entity for the Accor Vacation Club is also a member of the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council and subscribes to its Code of Ethics and Code of Practice.

Benefits of Buying a Membership from the Responsible Entity of the Accor Vacation Club compared to a second hand membership

If you purchase an Accor Vacation Club Membership directly from the Responsible Entity you will become a Première Plus Member which will entitle you to a suite of Personal Benefits in addition to your ability to book holidays of a lifetime within Accor Vacation Club properties.  Currently^ Personal Benefits include:

  1. The Accor Hotels Select program – the ability to use Première Points to make a reservation at a select group of hotels operated by Accor;

In addition to this, you will also have the peace of mind knowing that the person selling you the Membership is authorised. This is all part of the protection in purchasing from an Authorised Representative of a Financial Services Licence holder.  You may not get this from the second hand market.

Common Questions

Q: How does the Membership work?
A: Members receive an annual allocation of Première Points, the Club’s currency, which they can use to stay at the Club’s apartments.

Q: Are there different levels of Membership?
A: Yes, Membership levels are sold as tiers; bronze, silver, gold, platinum, traveller and corporate. The higher the tier, the more points you receive every year as part of your Membership. The level of Membership also determines the length of your booking window for full week reservations and the period of time for which your Première Points.

Q: Will I always get the booking I request?
A: It is important to plan your holidays in advance particularly in peak times such as school and public holidays as bookings are subject to availability.  Booking windows (as described in section 3.3 of the PDS) will help you to make reservations as soon as you are entitled to. 

Q: Are there any other differences in Memberships?
A: There are two types of Membership. The basic Membership which is called ‘Première’ and then the ‘Premiere Plus’ Membership.

Base or ‘Première’ allows you to book holidays at any of the Club’s 24 Club Properties. The most popular Membership type is the Première Plus Membership which also provides you with access to Personal benefits. You will automatically be entitled to become a Première Plus Member if you purchase a Membership from the responsible entity on the day you attend a sales preview.
